Several works of Quincy University’s Robert Lee Mejer, distinguished professor of art, have been selected for international and national exhibitions.

Mejer’s watercolor “Origins” was selected for inclusion in the Watercolor USA Honor Society 2020 Watercolor NOW! Invitations Exhibition, at the Margaret Harwell 艺术 Museum in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Exhibition jurors, David McEown CSPWC, Marc Gagnon SCPWC, 和卡拉·加内特, 导演, and curator at the John B Aird Gallery, selected “Variant-Checkmate #2” for inclusion in The Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolor 95th Open Water International Juried Exhibition 2020. Mejer’s “Take PC: Open Book #4” was selected for inclusion in the 2021 Miami University/ Ohio Department of 艺术 Faculty and 校友 Exhibition, August 24 – December 11, 2021. The watercolor also received a Merit Award in the 26th Annual Mary S. Oakley and Lee Lindsay 艺术ist Showcase 2020.

Mejer’s watercolor, “Take PC Open Book #3”, received an Honorable Mention Award in the National Abstract Only! 10th Anniversary Actual Exhibition at the Hawaii Island 艺术 Alliance WAILOA Center in Hilo, Hawaii.

Mejer received the International Society Experimental 艺术ist top honor as Master Fellowship (ISEA-MF) in recognition of his acceptance into ten juried international exhibitions.

Mejer has been a distinguished professor of art, Gray Gallery Curator and 艺术 Program coordinator at Quincy University since 1968. He is an Illinois artist, painter, printmaker, juror and visiting artist.
